We ship original artworks, prints, and merchandise worldwide. Shipping terms differ depending on the product type. Please read this policy carefully before ordering.
1. Product Types & Fulfillment

Prints — Fulfilled automatically by Printful, our third-party print-on-demand partner.

Original Paintings — Packaged and shipped by us directly from either Indiana, United States or Barcelona, Spain, depending on the artist's location at the time of dispatch.

Commissions — Custom artwork with variable processing and shipping timelines.
2. Prints (Printful Fulfillment)
Print orders are forwarded automatically to Printful upon payment confirmation. Printful handles production, packaging, and shipping from their nearest fulfilment centre.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may vary due to carrier capacity or customs processing.
3. Original Paintings
Original paintings are carefully packaged using acid-free tissue, corner protectors, and double-walled cardboard or a wooden crate for larger works. The origin country will be noted on your shipping confirmation email.

4. Commissions
Commission timelines vary depending on size, complexity, and current workload. We will confirm an estimated completion date before production begins.

5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, and dimensions. The total will be displayed before you complete your purchase. We do not add hidden fees.
6. International Shipments — Customs, Duties & Taxes
Important for International Customers

All customs duties, import taxes, and VAT in the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Maria Pairitz has no control over customs processing times or fees and cannot predict what charges may apply.

Customs processing can add significant delays. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs agencies.

If a package is refused by customs and returned to us, the cost of re-shipment is the buyer's responsibility.

Note on origin: When an original painting ships from Barcelona, Spain, EU customers will generally receive their order with no customs charges or import duties. Customers outside the EU (including the US) may still face import duties based on the declared value of the artwork.
7. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear after dispatch.
8. Damaged or Lost Packages
If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and the item immediately and email us at info@mariapairitz.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue.
In the rare event that a shipment is lost in transit, please contact us at info@mariapairitz.com. We will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.
9. Address Accuracy
It is the customer's responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Maria Pairitz is not liable for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
