Shipping Policy

Original paintings ship within the United States from Fishers, Indiana. Prints ship worldwide: they are made to order by our printing partner, theprintspace, at its studio nearest to the buyer (United States, United Kingdom or Germany). Please read this policy carefully before ordering.

1. Product Types & Fulfillment

  • Original Paintings — Packed and shipped by us.

  • Prints — Printed, packed and shipped to order by our printing partner, theprintspace.

  • Commissions — Custom artwork, with timelines agreed before work begins.

​​Original paintings ship from Fishers, Indiana, with USPS.

2. Prints

Each print is made to order by theprintspace after payment is confirmed, unframed or framed in oak as you choose. Printing takes about 2–5 business days. The print then ships with tracking from the nearest studio. Shipping is free within the United States and $20 to the rest of the world.

 

You will receive a tracking number by email when your print is dispatched.

 

 

3. Original Paintings

Original paintings are carefully packaged using acid-free tissue, corner protectors, and double-walled cardboard or a wooden crate for larger works. Every original painting is shipped insured for its full purchase price and includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.

4. Commissions

Commission timelines vary depending on size, complexity, and current workload. We will confirm an estimated completion date before production begins.

  • Shipping timelines above apply once the commission is complete and ready for dispatch.

  • You will be notified at each stage: commission accepted, production underway, and dispatch confirmation.

  • Timelines are estimates and may be subject to change — we will always communicate delays promptly.

 

5. Shipping Costs

Prints ship free within the United States and cost $20 to ship anywhere else. For original paintings, USPS calculates shipping at checkout from your address and the weight and size of the package. You choose standard or priority shipping and see the price before you pay. Standard shipping is free on orders over $180. Priority shipping is always charged. We don't add handling fees.

 

 

6. Shipping Outside the United States

Prints ship worldwide. Original paintings ship to addresses in the United States only, for now. Orders shipped outside the United States may be subject to import duties or taxes, which are the buyer's responsibility.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear after dispatch.

 

 

8. Damaged or Lost Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and the item immediately and email us at info@mariapairitz.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue.

In the rare event that a shipment is lost in transit, please contact us at info@mariapairitz.com. We will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.

 

 

9. Address Accuracy

It is the customer's responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Maria Pairitz is not liable for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
