After studying art education and spending time teaching, I stepped away during the pandemic and returned to creating art, this time discovering oil as my primary medium.

Although I came to oil painting later, it quickly became the way I make sense of what I see. It allows me to explore depth, light, and color in a way that feels both intuitive and expressive. Living between the Midwest and Barcelona, my work is shaped by both soft, familiar moments and sun-soaked color.

I’m drawn to contrast: stillness and movement, softness and vibrancy, routine and discovery. My work is an invitation to slow down and notice the quiet vitality in everyday life.
